The Cleveland-based Platform Beer Co. has expanded into Over-the-Rhine opening a bar and coffee concept called Locoba on Main Street to serve brews, beans and bites. As the first Platform location not styled as a brewery, Locoba (which stands for "local coffee barrels," according to the brewery) brings something new to the table. The space serves specialty pastries by Brown Bear Bakery for breakfast, while the kitchen offers café-style foods such as wraps, sandwiches and salads later in the day. Locoba is also set to start barrel-aging beer in house in the upcoming months. The current drink menu offers Platform brews on tap and in cans, with cocktails and a full-service coffee and espresso bar featuring Ohio-roasted beans. Growlers to-go start at $12.
