Inside Mikey's Late Night Slice, OTR's New Neon Pizza Haven

Columbus-based pizza parlor Mikey's Late Night Slice has set an opening date for its Over-the-Rhine location: March 18. The pizza joint shares a space with Oddfellows Liquor Bar, which will hold its grand opening soon after. This will be the fifth location for Late Night Slice, the first outside of Columbus; it will be the second Oddfellows bar. Both brands fall under the same LNS Restaurant Group umbrella. “We couldn’t be more excited to finally bring our two concepts to Cincinnati,” says Mikey Sorboro, LNS Restaurant Group Partner and the "Mikey" of Late Night Slice fame. "This project has been our focus for over two years now and we hope our neighbors, our Pizzafaces and our OddDudes and OddBabes will love what we’ve done, to not only make these destinations bars and restaurants unlike anything else that this area has seen before, but to continue to create what was started by Rhinegeist Brewery years ago — a new district in OTR.” Mikey's is known for its giant, foldable pizza slices and drunk-friendly menu items like the Pizza Dog — a hot dog stuffed with pepperoni and cheese, which is then wrapped in a slice of pizza — and the Cheezus Crust and Baby Cheezus, which is American cheese melted on top of two slices of pizza and pressed together into a sandwich. This location will also have salads, including one that comes topped with Flamin' Hot Cheetos. #health Mikey's will seat 350 patrons and feature a patio for outdoor seating. And when Oddfellows opens, guests can expect seasonal craft cocktails, frozen seasonal "Lushies" aka frozen boozy slushies and 16 local, regional and national beers on draft. "Anyone can sell pizza,” says LNS partner Bryce Ungerott. “I happen to think we have the best pizza around, but it’s everything we do around our pizza; our people, our culture, our interiors, our social media, our flavors, our video production, and the whole experience we offer, that sets us apart." The official grand opening is March 18 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony planned along with special events happening the week of March 11. Late Night Slice hours will be 11 a.m.-3 a.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-4 a.m. Friday-Saturday. Oddfellows will be open from 4 p.m.-2:30 a.m. daily.
