Everything You Can Look Forward to Enjoying at This Year’s Best of Cincinnati Celebration
CityBeat's Best of Cincinnati celebration is right around the corner — March 27 to be exact — which means we're throwing one hell of a party at The Phoenix. The event coincides with the release of our BOC issue, an annual publication highlighting the city's most outstanding selections in Eats, Shops & Services, Music & Nightlife, Arts & Culture, City Life and Sports & Recreation — and the responsibility of selecting these exceptional entities is divided between our readers and staff.
This year's celebration will take over all three floors of The Phoenix and will feature samples from more than 35 local restaurants and bars like Court Street Lobster Bar, Dewey's Pizza, Eli's BBQ, Queen City Radio and more, as well as live entertainment, drink tickets, options for a VIP experience and photo booths. Clifton Barbers will be on site, offering some lucky guests a fresh new fade, cut or trim.
Upon entering the celebration, guests will receive a limited edition Edie Harper "pigs are big" swag bag, full of coupons to local restaurants, bars and businesses who are participating in the event. Random bags are stuffed with "golden tickets" — aka free tickets to a number of different events, festivals and shows like Bonnaroo, Bellweather Music Festival, Third Eye Blind and Jimmy Eat World, an overnight stay at the 21c Hotel and more.
Guests can head over to The Birdcage, located a block north, for the official afterparty where there will be live entertainment, drinks and giveaways.
There are limited tickets available, starting at $42 for general admission ($50 if purchased the week of the event). Tickets for the VIP experience cost $100.
