Cincinnati-based auction site Everything But the House is offering a unique bidding experience to benefit Queen City arts organizations greatly impacted by the effects of COVID-19 and resultant shutdowns.
Starting Wednesday, July 8, shoppers can head to https://www.ebth.com/sales/63190-cincinnati-arts-relief to start bidding on rare offers and experiences to benefit ArtsWave and more than 40 Greater Cincinnati nonprofit arts organizations.
According to a release, "Cincinnatis arts sector was one of the first local industries hit economically by the health crisis and is predicted to be one of the last to recover, with museums just beginning to open and large venues closed, impacting performances."
We are proud to partner with ArtsWave and many of Cincinnatis iconic institutions for the arts to shine a spotlight on what they do best while connecting EBTH shoppers with Uncommon Experiences not typically accessible to the public, said Brian Graves, co-founder of EBTH in a release. We are excited to donate the use of our services and technology while providing access to our online community to amplify the voice and awareness of the arts in our hometown."
Each organization is offering their own unique and one-of-a-kind experience, from tours and backyard performances to trips to London and in-home dinner parties. The auction will end at 8 p.m. Sunday, July 12 and 100% of proceeds will go to the individual nonprofits.
