Are You In These Groovy Photos from Cincinnati's Kings Island in the 1970s?

Cincinnati's beloved amusement park Kings Island has been making memories in the lives of Greater Cincinnatians for nearly five decades. The park opened to the public on April 29, 1972, celebrating 49 years as a Queen City entertainment staple and setting for everybody's favorite "Brady Bunch" episode. "When the park first opened, there were just over 60 attractions for the public to enjoy. Today, after years of investments, there are more than 100 rides and attractions, including 2020’s 'Best New Amusement Park Attraction' Orion, the seventh giga coaster on the planet," a release from Kings Island reads. In 2020, the park's opening was delayed until July, due to the pandemic. But this year, the park will open to the public on May 15, plus season passholders will get to enjoy the park a little earlier on May 8 and 9. Kings Island's Soak City Water Park will open over Memorial Day Weekend on May 29. For more info, visit kingsisland.com.
