While last year's beloved Northside Fourth of July parade  was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year, the fest shifted from the traditional parade and carnival format to a safer approach: Neighbors transformed their homes into stationary floats — sort of like the ScareCoronas art show from this past spring — and folks could meander the streets on walking routes to view them.

Additionally, there were passport stickers for children and small block parties throughout Northside. A jury decided winners in a variety of categories including best in show,  best yard, best porch, most unique theme, most Northside pride and more.
