Cincinnati Union Bethel’s “Launch the Line” fundraiser was a take on TV show Project Runway, where seven local fashion designers were matched with a graduate from CUB’s Off the Streets program and a local model to create two looks under the concept of “Strong Woman.”

Off the Streets is a program that serves women with histories of sex trafficking and exploitation and helps them find “safety, recovery and empowerment.”

Using the vision of their Off the Streets grad, these teams put looks on local movers and shakers like artist and educator Pam Kravetz, mixologist Molly Wellmann and Cynthia Booth, President and CEO of COBCO Enterprises, which were judged by a panel. The panel critiqued the work and selected one winning collection.
