"Hey, Splinter here! You are most probably wondering why a handsome 12 year old (estimated by our vet) guy like me is looking for a home. Well, here's my story. I came into the shelter after a really rough life, my owner did not have me neutered, my teeth were in horrible shape, my nails were super long, my skin was so itchy from flea bites that I scratched ALL the time, my tail bone was broken and I'd been shot with a BB. Whew! The worst part is I was dehydrated and emaciated I was so happy when PawPrints Animal Rescue took me in and found a foster home for me and Boy has my life changed! Currently I live with my foster mom and her four senior dogs and let me tell you, Life is good! I've been neutered, had a dental and my itchy skin is healing nicely and now I'm ready to find a family of my own. I don't think I'd do well with young children or with high energy dogs because I have a sore back and the little ones and rambunctious dogs may unintentionally knock into me so I'm looking for someone who can be gentle with me. I love to cuddle but my forever family would have to make sure to lift me on and off the couch so I don't make my back sore again but don't worry, I weigh less than 6 pounds so lifting me would be a breeze! I know I'd make a great companion for an older person who's looking for an adorable lap dog!"

"Peanut here, one of the ice cream crew of puppies :) I came in with my momma, Sundae. My foster mommy said we basically wouldnt leave her alone even when she wanted her space, so thats how we got our names as toppings We were strays with our momma and two older siblings. Though we were found as strays, we love love love human attention! We warmed up fast and are so ready for lots of love and attention! You can tell Im a different color than my siblings, standing out with this gorgeous shade of tan, hence the name Peanut! Im a super sweet lovable guy who is always first to greet my foster mom out of the group. I can be playful or chill I like playing with my siblings and toys, and its been said I give the best kisses! Ive been socialized with other dogs and kids and have shown no problems! If you think you could go nuts over me, fill out an application! I hope to meet you soon! I can NOT go home until the weekend of the 23/24th no exceptions. I have been DNA tested for fun, but will not have results for weeks. We will send them to adopters once received. I can not go to apartments, condos, or townhomes due to age & vaccines. I am around 8/9 pounds & unsure of breed until DNA comes back."

"Excuse my attire, but this dashing tuxedo is all I had to wear. My other tux is at the cleaners. Either way, I’m here, I’m bigger than life and full of that 007 vim and vigor. What’s this you ask? I got this scar on my right eye when I escaped from Alcatraz (don’t let him fool you, folks, he got it as a result of his previous illness before he came to rescue). Like my brother, Wall-e, I’ve fought life-threatening illness. I run hard, play hard, and I snuggle even harder. I don’t just try my best, I’m a winner, and you know what they say about winners. Even though I will likely have lifelong occasional upper respiratory issues, I will always come out the hero, just like my namesake! When I’m not captaining a submarine, finding treasure, or wooing the ladies with my super spy panache, Cado and I will work out by sheet wrangling, improving our parkour moves, and beating our best time doing sneak runs up the bedroom curtains. "Meet Zelda! She is a 6-month-old fluffylicious Great Pyrenees puppy looking for her forever home. Zelda is a super social, playful, sweet, and smart puppy who will need a home that understands that puppies are puppies and she will need help and patience with teaching her how to be a good dog. Zelda has a hemophiliac-type bleeding disorder so if she has a bleeding-type injury, she needs a trip to the vet for a plasma transfusion. We are looking for a home for her without other dogs (or super chill dogs) to minimize the risk of injury. Zelda is working on her potty training and leash walking, but she is crate trained. Zelda will also need someone with Great Pyrenees or Livestock Guardian Dog experience, (this does not include experience with large dogs) and a fenced yard. The other part comes from my sweet, human-adoring personality! I am 2.5 years old and came back to the rescue after learning that I would thrive better in an environment without small animals (I like to bark at small dogs) or small children...I’m a bit of a nervous fellow. However, because the wonderful people at Adore-A-Bull saw that I needed some structure and training, they brought me back and are putting me through a board-and-train program! Now I’m gaining the confidence to be the bestest, happiest doggo I can be! I weigh about 50 lbs and have a boxer-type build. I get along great with my siblings - both four-legged and two-legged. When I get free time at training my favorite thing is to lay my head on my trainer’s knee - I just love him so much! "Jack is a 9 month old 30lb American Bully who came to us in need of emergency vet care for his uretha. Luckily, he did well recovering from multiple surgeries and has mastered a diaper system. His beautiful coloring and love for following humans around makes him the cutest ever! Jack has spina bifida and thus is completely incontinent. He requires diapers full time due to his constant dripping of urine and no control of his bowels. His assessment from the vet indicates that this is a permanent condition. Jack gets along with the some dogs and the cat in the house but his optimal home would be as an only dog or 1 dog in the home as he gets overstimulated. His club feet do allow him to be mobile and do a few steps but not able to go for long walks. His favorite activity is wiggling on the couch with his toys and humans."

"Rowan, who we are now calling Earnest, has found himself homeless after his family raised him from a puppy and he was loving and loyal to them for over 4 years before they abandoned him over their own neglect to provide proper supervision in their invisible fenced yard and had a very minor incident with someone who came into the yard unannounced. Earnest loved his family so much and he has been depressed and sad ever since they left him, with only fleeting moments of playfulness here and there. Earnest takes some significant time to warm up to his new people, but he does love to be pet and loved once he knows you're his friend. Earnest would do best as an only dog in the home, in a one person household with no children. "

My foster mom can't figure out why I was there so long. I'm pretty chill in the house but outside I can get super playful. Lucky Tales thinks I may be a Pointer mixed with some Pit, all I know is that I love playing with other dogs and I'm learning to overcome my shyness with people. My new family should have at least one other playful dog, a securely fenced yard, and an abundance of love and patience. Now that I can run around and play, I've even lost a few pounds. I'm a solid fella weighing in around 75 lbs. I've been around older kids (11 and 14) and they're pretty cool. I just need a little time to get used to new people. I'm up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and neutered."
