This weekend is My Furry Valentine, the area’s largest pet adoption event. More than 700 adoptable animals from multiple rescue agencies around Greater Cincinnati will be in one location — the Sharonville Convention Center — to make finding the perfect pet as easy as possible. From dogs, cats, kittens and puppies to other little critters, all sorts of animals in need of a permanent and loving home will be available to meet and greet and some will even be available to take home that day. Each adoption agency has their own prices and requirements, so fees, applications and waiting times may vary. We've highlighted a few adoptable cuties for you, but if you'd like to browse more in advance of the event, visit My Furry Valentine’s “featured pet gallery” to learn more about the animals and their respective adoption agencies. 10 a.m.-noon early bird and noon-6 p.m. Feb. 9; noon-6 p.m. Feb. 10. $5; $25 early bird. Sharonville Convention Center, 11355 Chester Road, Sharonville, myfurryvalentine.com.
