25 Adoptable Pets from the Overcrowded Cincinnati Animal CARE Shelter Looking for Forever Homes

The Cincinnati Animal CARE Humane Society is looking for caring pet parents and welcoming homes to adopt dogs and cats in need.

Cincinnati Animal CARE assumed operations of the Hamilton County shelter in Northside previously overseen by the SPCA on Aug. 1 and the space was at-capacity. Shelter officials are hopeful that Cincinnatians can aid the overcrowded shelter in providing these rescue dogs and cats with new, loving homes.

“It’s our belief that the shelter is the last resort for a homeless animal,” says Meaghan Colville, director of lifesaving operations. “No-kill is a community ethic and we need community support to make room for the dogs that truly need to be here.”

All of their currently adoptable animals are on the website at cincinnatianimalcare.org, and if you want to make an appointment to meet any of them, just call 513-541-PETS.

Cincinnati Animal CARE Humane Society is located at 3949 Colerain Ave., Northside.
