While there are many good boys and girls looking for their forever home, there's a lot to think about when making the decision to bring home a pet. What kind of breed is right for you and your lifestyle? What adoption agencies should you look at? If you're serious about making this life step, adopting a pet is very rewarding — for you and the pet that gets a new home. Waylon Age: 3.5 Months Old / Breed: Anatolian Shepherd/ Sex: Male / Rescue: Louie’s Legacy "Hello! Meet the Anatolian boys, Hank and Waylon. These boys are so big (over 30 pounds at 3.5 months) and are so sweet. These puppies are currently not able to meet the foster dogs in their house because they haven't gotten all their vaccines yet, but they play well among themselves, suggesting they will probably get along with other dogs if properly introduced. They do like to play ruff (get it, ruff?!) with each other so they may annoy an older, laid back dog. They accidentally met a cat and were overzealous (like all puppies would be) but not mean to her. Waylon loves to fetch a tennis ball over and over again. It's a great way to burn his moderate puppy energy. Hank loves to chase Waylon and also chases the ball but Waylon generally wins out. (Waylon is the smaller and slightly more coordinated among the two, and Hank is the biggest lover). When unattended, the boys are confined to a small room and they will whine and bark for a few minutes but are generally quiet. Their bark, like their frame, is big!
