Your favorite queens are coming to the Queen City. The latest season of RuPaul’s Drag Race has turned out to be “the most fashionable, fearless and jaw-dropping spectacle in Drag Race herstory,” says a release, and the performers are now going to walk the runway in Cincinnati. Expect to see Season 11 winner Yvie Oddly, plus Silky Nutmeg Ganache, A’kiera Chanel Davenport, Plastique Tiara, Kahanna Montrese, Nina West and Ariel Versace as they show off their fiercest looks, as introduced by host Asia O’Hara of Season 10. 8-11 p.m. Friday. EVENT: Price Hill Creative Community Festival

Come out to Price Hill for two days of dance, poetry, film, performances, food and more. Price Hill Will is hosting its fourth annual Price Hill Creative Community Festival with more than 50 performances spread across four venues in the neighborhood. Its artists-in-residence program pairs internationally renowned performers with MYCincinnati, Price Hill’s youth orchestra, to produce original works of art. See the feature on page 34 for more. EVENT: Schützenfest at the Kolping Society
10235 Mill Road, Mount Healthy
Translated as “The Marksman’s Festival,” Schützenfest began in the 15th century when, according to the legend, a German marksman shot an eagle that attacked a child. The marksman was made honorary king. When German immigrants settled in Cincinnati, they brought the traditional fest with them, holding the first Schutzenfest here in 1866. Today, the Kolping Society continues the tradition with a weekend-long event that includes a competition for the shooting of a hand-carved eagle, a bier dash and authentic German food like jaegerschnitzel and spaetzle. 6 p.m.-midnight Friday; 4 p.m.-midnight Saturday; 1-9 p.m. Sunday. $3 adults; free 15 and younger. kolpingcincinnati.com.

MUSIC: Tedeschi Trucks Band’s Wheels of Soul 2019 with Blackberry Smoke and Shovels & Rope at Riverbend

Singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi and her guitar-slinging husband Derek Trucks have been spending their summers on the road since 2015, with their Tedeschi Trucks Band heading up the cross-country, Roots-music-heavy “Wheels of Soul Tour.” The tour — which has frequently come to Cincinnati — has showcased a nice range of American Roots music since its inception. Over the years, artists rolling with TTB on the Wheels of Soul have included Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Los Lobos, North Mississippi Allstars, The Wood Brothers, Marcus King Band and Drive-By Truckers. For this year’s fifth-anniversary tour, the Tedeschi Trucks Band is being joined by hugely acclaimed Americana duo Shovels & Rope. The husband/wife duo of Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst recently released By Blood, which has received glowing reviews for its broadening sonic palette and smart, poetic social commentary. Southern Rock-meets-Country group Blackberry Smoke rounds out this year’s Wheels of Soul lineup. Tedeschi Trucks Band’s recent setlists have also included covers of songs by Bob Dylan, The Box Tops, Elton John, Elmore James and The Allman Brothers, the legendary Blues Rock group Trucks began playing guitar with when he was just 20 years old (the guitarist is the nephew of Allmans’ drummer Butch Trucks). 7 p.m. Friday. $52-$149. riverbend.org.

COMEDY: Sheryl Underwood at Liberty Funny Bone

Sheryl Underwood is a card-carrying member of the Republican Party, something many would find unusual for a female African-American entertainer. She’s not what you would call a social conservative, though, as she tells audiences, “Men, every woman does not want to be in love with you, some of us just want sex. And don’t pull your pants down too far, cuz you’re not staying very long.” However, she notes, “I think most entertainers don’t understand how conservative they truly are. They whine about the environment, but then they jump on a private jet.” Though she was a fan of George W. The City Flea takes place this Saturday in Over-the-Rhine where hundreds of vendors will gather at Washington Park to create an urban flea market that lets you meet a myriad of Cincinnati artisans and makers. Shop their wares ranging from art, and vintage finds to jewelry, ceramics, plants, fancy foods and more. EVENT: Tequila Fest at Fountain Square

It’ll be a night you can’t remember as the third-annual Tequila Fest takes over Fountain Square with more than 50 different tequilas. Tickets include 12 samples (which totals about six shots); food from Mazunte; live music from Sun King Warriors, The Cliftones and Secret Circle; a T-shirt; and an additional cash bar. If you opt for VIP, you get in early with access to a build-your-own taco bar and high-end tequila. The Cincinnati Observatory is celebrating the moon landing’s 50th anniversary with a night of space-themed activities. Recall Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin’s out-of-this-world feat with a buzz of your own from a variety of beers presented by Fifty West and stop by a “Moon-tastic Photo Booth” for Insta-worthy pics. Moon-themed goodie bags will be handed out, and a silent auction will give guests the chance to walk away with even more swag. EVENT: 'Big Lebowski' Blast at Jungle Jim’s

For this Saturday's Big Lebowski Bash, the market's Jungle Jim's Experience Center in Eastgate is transforming into themed wonderland. During a screening of the 1998 film, ticketholders can grab cocktails and appetizers including Walter’s Show Dogs (aka corn dogs), “The Dude’s” pub fries, Stella Artois and, of course, White Russians. They'll also get swag bags with Lebowski-themed souvenirs. After the film, you can hit the outdoor after-party, with a full bar and a Lebowski look-alike contest. The Crafted Food, Beer & Music Festival returns to Sawyer Point Saturday. As the name suggests, the party features thoughtful food, beer and live music. Local restaurants will be providing meat-forward, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes and local brewers will be offering more than 42 different craft beers including selections from the likes of MadTree, Bad Tom Smith, West Side Brewing, Rhinegeist, 13 Below, Fifty West, Grainworks, Fretboard, Fibonacci, DogBerry, Wooden Cask and many more.
