Metropole
609 Walnut St., Downtown
9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. April 21. $32 per person.
Metropole will be offering a blessed brunch on Easter Sunday catering to all ages. Get any combination of a single appetizer and entree plus coffee, tea, or soda. Entrées include a loaded breakfast burrito, pancakes topped with maple mascarpone and candied pecans, and a brunch burger with an over-easy egg. Picky-eating kids need not fear, there’s a cheaper kids menu featuring grilled cheese, scrambled eggs with potatoes, and a simple pasta dish. It wouldn’t be brunch without mimosas, and $50 gets you Metropole’s signature “mimosa experience,” which goes beyond a simple bottle of prosecco (though that’s still important). Flavor additives like orange blossom water, tinctured cherry-rosé, and seasonal shrub syrup can be mixed and matched to your heart's content before choosing to garnish your custom cocktail with a candied flower, wine gummies or liquid mercury.
