Located inside of Dayton, Kentuckys former YMCA building, this haunt is based off of the Northern Kentucky urban legend of the Hogg Woman, where a woman who was walking along Route 8 was hit by a car. Lying face down her nose became smashed in and her chin became elongated from moisture, rain and sun. Most people have never came face to face with her and lived to talk about it, a Facebook post from the trail reads. Hogg Woman has returned to the haunted house, seeking revenge on those who left her to die. The Dead End Haunted House is dead serious about COVID-related precautions. Visitors must wear a mask, fill out a COVID-19 form and have their temperatures taken. Groups travel together and will be six-feet apart from other groups.
8 p.m.-midnight Friday and Saturdays through Oct. 31. $10. 625 Second St., Dayton, Kentucky, searchable on Facebook.
